The very first thing a selling agent is going to ask when they receive an offer is "are the buyers pre-qualified?" Unless you are a cash buyer, it is imperative that you seek out a lender to pre-approve you for a mortgage. If you aren't currently working with a lender, I can help find you a professional who can help. Getting pre-approved is quick and easy and the first step in home ownership.
I'm sure you have a list of "must haves" for your new home. Some are easy to filter in a search: location, type of home (single family, townhome, condo), number of bedrooms and bathrooms, etc.
However, many "must haves" are not searchable. Maybe you own a boat and need to know water depth or bridge clearance. Perhaps your son plays lacrosse and you need to have him in a school that would give him the best opportunity for a scholarship. These types of needs in a home rely on local knowledge. As a resident of Brevard County since 1972, I can promise that if I don't know the answer, I know someone to call for those answers. I have a deep well of resources to tap into and I will work tirelessly to find what you need.

This is the part where things tend to move at warp speed during the first 10 days. There will be home inspection, mortgage application, title work, insurance shopping, and much more. I will guide you through every step and make sure you understand the entire process. Our office has a full-time transaction coordinator who is always making certain that timelines are met and everything is moving along as it should.
Once we are past the inspection period, you can take a deep breath and relax a bit. We'll keep in close contact with your lender to ensure that there are no issues with financing and tie up any loose ends.
